Medical aesthetics is a branch of healthcare that focuses on enhancing appearance through nonsurgical treatments. The most popular treatments are Botox and dermal fillers, designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and restore volume.
Unlike cosmetic surgery, medical aesthetic treatments are minimally invasive, meaning they don’t require incisions or anesthesia. This results in less discomfort and quicker recovery times while still providing noticeable improvements in appearance.
Medical aesthetics is suitable for people of various ages, both men and women, who want to enhance their appearance. Whether you’re in your 20s looking to prevent signs of aging or in your 60s aiming to reduce wrinkles and restore volume, there’s a treatment for you.
The duration of results varies by treatment. For example, Botox results typically last 3-4 months,
while dermal fillers can last from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type used and the treated
area.
Your first visit usually begins with a consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals. The practitioner will assess your needs and create a personalized treatment plan. Most treatments are quick, with minimal downtime, allowing you to resume normal activities almost immediately.
